The Nautilus House

*Começo a semana com a Nautilus House, trabalho do arquitecto mexicano Javier Senosiain, conhecido pela sua arquitectura organica, inspirada na Natureza e no equilibrio do ecossistema. A mim agradam-me as linhas sinuosas, as cores do vitral e a transferência da Natureza para dentro de casa : ) Uma Grande Ideia!

Não encontrei nenhuma home page do arquitecto, apenas artigos espalhados pela Internet.

** I start the week with this "Nautilus House", Work of the famous mexican architect, known by his organic architecture. I like the curve lines, the vitral colours and the transference of Nature to the interiour of the house - What a Great Ideia!

*Ontem estive na inauguração do Cais 24 - um edifício com apartamentos de luxo em Santos. A  apresentação dos apartamentos foi bastante original - convidaram ateliers de Interiores de renome da nossa praça a apresentarem uma instalação na casa que lhes foi atribuida. Dada a época não é de estranhar que o tema escolhido foi - O Natal! Já sentem o espírito natalício no ar? : ) Bom fim-de-semana!

Realistic Graffiti Master TRANS - London

*Só recentemente (este fim de semana!) encontrei este artista enquanto folheava uma revista de graffitis. Assim que me sentei ao computador, liguei a net e no google escrevi TRANS1. Faz o mesmo e vê a quantidade de informação que aparece sobre ele e facilmente concluis - ele é o MESTRE! Tenho de regressar a Londres e fotografar o "escritório" dele : D Aqui está a sua Galeria de Imagens no Flickr e alguns videos de Como se Faz (!) no Youtube.

**Only recently (This weekend!!) in a graffiti magazine, i found the work of this amazing artist. Just with his signature - TRANS1 - i found  lots of information about him and concluded - He is the Master! Have to go to London and Photograph his "Office"! *O figurino em cima marca a entrada da Galeria MATI, em Fira, Santorini. Ali encontrei o trabalho do artista grego Yorgos Kypris, e fiquei sem palavras! O trabalho dele flui nas paredes, e capta a nossa total atenção. Depois de pesquisar mais sobre o homem e o artista fiquei fã. Descubram mais sobre ele aqui.

**The figurine above marks the entrance of Mati Gallery, in Fira, Santorini. There i found the work of this greek artist - Yorgos Kypris - and i was amazed! His art flows on the walls and captures our complete attention. Learn more about him here.

*É das coisas que me dá mais prazer fazer em viagem - observar e absorver a Arte que se encontra por toda a parte, quer seja numa loja, num atelier, ou mesmo num graffiti - uma paixão que me acompanha há já alguns anos. Estes que vos mostro encontrei-os em Pádua e achei-os maravilhosos! Só tenho pena de não saber quem os pintou para descobrir mais sobre o artista...

**It's one of the things i love to do when i travel - observing and absorbing the art you find everywhere! It can be in a store, atelier, our even a street graffiti, like the ones i show you here, found in Padova, Italy - aren't they wonderful? My only regret is not knowing who made them and find more about the artist...

É a típica vila grega com o encanto da arte - Um mimo!

Nem queia acreditar... muitos dos meus amigos não o sabem, e esta mulher, a quem eu fui pedir um autógrafo no lançamento do seu livro "O Navegador da Passagem", e com quem troquei 2 palavras, dá-me assim um momento mágico : ) Há coisas incríveis!!! A autora é a Deana Barroqueiro e eu cá fiquei com contade de ler todos os livros dela!! No fim ainda conversámos um pouco e ela disse-me: "Tenho essa habilidade e tu tens cara de Alexandra!" : D O blog dela aqui, mais sobre ela aqui e ainda mais um video aqui!
**Today i met an amazing woman - because of her smile, simplicity, sensibility, kindness and what a sense of humor!! I asked her to sign her book and she told me: "Your name is Alexandra right?"... Most of my friends don't know this... but that is my second name! In the end i had the chance to speak with her and she sayd - I have this hability... I you look like an Alexandra : ) What a magical moment. Her name is Deana Barroqueiro!

*Como o tempo passa - o meu pequenino blog já tem 100 posts! Hoje foi portanto dia de festa - dupla festa! Festejei o 100º post do meu blog juntamente com os 20 anos da Máxima, num almoço no belíssimo Farol Design Hotel em Cascais - que chic : D As fotos estão em processamento! Entretanto ontem fartei-me de trabalhar para enviar as surpresas que já tinha prometidas às minhas amigas Cakau, Juli, Krisztina, Emily e Menina Rabina! Espero q gostem queridas : D
**How time goes by - my little blog already has 100 posts!! So today was a party day - double time! My 100th post along with the 20 years of Máxima Magazine,with a lunch in the Farol Design Hotel, in Cascais - how nice!
